He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion C. Smith and Ruth C. Smith (Bortz); his siblings, Daniel D. Smith and Baby Smith; and his brother-in-law Don Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Smith (Baker) of Leechburg; his son David W. Smith (Leanne Mathys) of Columbus, Ohio; his stepson Christopher S. Patterson of Vandergrift; his granddaughter Amber N. Smith; his siblings, Marion C. Smith Jr. of Oak Harbour, Washington, Ruth E. Smith of Wheeling and Marian D. Collier (Larry) of Silver Springs, Maryland; his sisters-in-law, Joann "Toot" Baker of Lower Burrell and Sandy Smith of Rainier, Washington; and his pet Brody. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
All visitors are asked to respectfully follow current state guidelines concerning pandemic measures of required face coverings, social distancing and gathering restrictions.
