It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen J. Chovanes (Leechburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 2, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Chovanes and Anna Chovanes (Mrasz); and his brother-in-law Andy Uncapher. He is survived by: his significant other Bonnie Butler of Leechburg; his siblings, Kathleen Uncapher of Leechburg, Michele Dicenzo (Tony) of Pittsburgh and John Chovanes (Eileen) of Cabot; his niece Elizabeth Gwinn Popovic (Jeff); and his nephews, John, Daniel and Stephen Chovanes.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
