He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney K. VanDervort and Margaret O. VanDervort (Achenne); his wife Lois Ann VanDervort (Brown); his son-in-law Beryl Carney; and his siblings, Robert S. VanDervort and Norma Jean Wiedel.

He is survived by: his children, Mark VanDervort of Brackenridge, Shane VanDervort of Indiana, PA, Chris VanDervort (Kay) of Allegheny Township, Cole VanDervort (Gina) of Radford, VA, Cheryl Carney of Vandergrift and Rhonda Barkey (Terry) of Butler. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ronald may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 251 Main Street, Leechburg, PA 15656.
