He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Robert Best and Twila Marie Best (Rosenberger); his wife Kathie Best (Hepler); and his siblings, Paul J. Best Sr., Roger L. Best, Robert Eugene Best and Martha Cooper.
He is survived by: his children, Larry E. Best of Gilpin Township and Karen Best of Leechburg; and his siblings, Larry Best (Linda) of Lower Burrell, Shirley Shaner of Gilpin Township, Donna B. Grafton (Eugene) of Gilpin Township and Patricia Ann Best of Kittanning.
