He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph "Todd" Battistelli and Helen Elizabeth Klazon Battistelli; his granddaughter Kasee; his great grandchild Chance; and his brother Rudolph.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Joann Smail Battistelli; his daughters, Dana Weimer (Raub) of Nowrytown, Nichole Pavlik (David) of Leechburg, Angela Battistelli (Ryan Blanciak) of Leechburg, Nicole Kacan of Apollo, Renae Barr of Apollo, Samantha Aresto (Tom) of Apollo and Rebecca Hepler (Arthur Blystone) of Parks Township; his sister Brenda Linkus of Leechburg; and his nephew Rudy Battistelli (Shawn) of Nowrytown. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
