With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Jean Knepshield (Leechburg, Pennsylvania), born in Donegal, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2024 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludwig Benjamin Garing and Dora Elisbeth Garing (Lechner); her husband Donald Eugene Knepshield; and her siblings, Dorothy Gallagher, Vemberline Sedwick, Jeannette McCollough, Alice Garing, Herbert Garing and Lewis Garing.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Ann Talarico (Mark) of Gilpin Township and Susan Dawn Vigna (Jerry) of Gibsonia; her grandchildren, Kristen Vigna, Estrella Talarico, Sarah Vigna, Jon Talarico, Brian Talarico, Emily Talarico, Benjamin Talarico and Madelyn Vigna; her siblings, Anna Truscott of Chicora, Joan Garing of New Castle and John Garing (Harriet) of Chicora; and her pet Spot. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Forks Zion Lutheran Church (253 Forks Church Rd, Leechburg, PA 15656).
