He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Lasher and Virginia Lasher (Camp); his former wife Margaret Lasher; and his children, Mike Thompson and Peggy Baker.
He is survived by: his children, James Thompson (Penny) of Arbutus, MD, Bill Thompson (Lana) of Leechburg, Lynnette Piper of Avonmore and Kedrin Lasher (Amy) of East Vandergrift; and his brother Jeff Lasher (Pam) of Ashtabula, OH.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
