She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Tyler Sr. and Lilla P. Heard Tyler; her husband John Richard Adams Sr.; and her siblings, Bessie Jones, Margaret Whiting, John Tyler, Kenneth Tyler and Dallas Tyler Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Renee Adams, Tanya Adams, Janine Lazere (Robert), John Adams (Denise), Mark Adams (Patti) and Stacey Adams-Ballard. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
