He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bono and Lucy Bono (DeFilippi); his son Ronald James Bono; and his brothers, James and Peter Bono.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Bono (Jones) of Leechburg; his children, Edward A. Bono, Jr. (Darlene) of Leechburg, Michael T. Bono (Tracy) of Parks Township, Louis A. Bono (Gina) of Gilpin Township and Anna M. Meredith (Bud) of Maysville, NC; his brother Frank Bono of Murrysville; his daughter-in-law Jeanine Bono of Leechburg; his grandchildren, Eric Bono, Adrienne Bono, Sarah Meredith, Breandan Meredith, Travis Meredith, Lauren Bono, Nicholas Bono, Taylor Bono and Andrew Bono; and his great grandchildren, Eli Bono and Dean Bono. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
