She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burkett and Ella Burkett (Smail); her husband Donald Reid Sr.; her daughters, Frances Bollinger, Denise Rupert and Linda Shaffer; her siblings, William Burkett, James Burkett and Grace Altman; her mother-in-law Violet Shutt; and her granddaughters, Amanda and Elizabeth.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Reid (Shawani) of West Leechburg and Carol Ward (David) of North Apollo; and her grandchildren, Audrey, Alessa, Brittany, Kaitlynn, Leslie, Nicole and Michael. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home Inc. (2842 River Rd, Vandergrift, PA 15690). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
