Della M. Ignatz Obituary
We bid farewell to Della M. Ignatz (Leechburg, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2025 at the age of 85. Della touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Della M. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd "Bear" Hartman and Ruth Hartman (Riffer); her husband Joseph Ignatz; and her sons, Joseph Ignatz and James E. "Jim" Ignatz.
She is survived by: her children, John Ignatz (Becky) of West Leechburg and Janice Rutledge (Curtis) of Gum Spring, VA; her grandchildren, Matt, Shawn, Greg, Amanda and Nathan; and her sisters, Carol Lorent (Wayne) of Apollo, Doris Burkett of North Vandergrift and Nancy Shellhammer of Leechburg. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, Inc. (170 Main St, Leechburg, PA 15656). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Della may be made to the Gilpin Township Vol.
