He was predeceased by: his parent William Carl Minnich; and his brother Franklin Carl Minnich Sr.. He is survived by: his parent Mabel Luella Minnich (Snyder); his nephew Franklin Carl Minnich Jr.; his wife Lisa Minnich of Gilpin Twp; his nieces, Myra E. Minnich Kline (David) of Manchester, TN, Mari Davis, Julia Cantrell, Sommermae Frazier and Mariah Rattay; his nephew Trayton Rattay; and also, Charles William Minnich of Gilpin Twp, Traci Mitchell Rattay of Gilpin Twp and Louis Davis. He is also survived by nieces and one great-great nephew.
