It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine M. Hoffer of Leechburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 26, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Firek and Mary Firek (Marhefka); her husband Steve of Leechburg; her siblings, Elsie Barlak (Jake), Irene Cignetti (Jesse), George Firek (Mary), Andy Firek (Ann Joan), Frank Firek (Lucy), Michael Firek (Emily) and Eddie Firek; her mother-in-law Mary Hoffer; and her close friend Louis Cruikshank.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Bentley (John) of South Bend, IN and Michael Hoffer (Sharon Blankner) of La Veta, CO; her granddaughter Lilith Bentley of Minneapolis, MN; and her sisters-in-law, Margie Hoffer Shannon and Carole Hoffer Yesensky. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
