Anne Cherry Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anne Cherry (Leechburg, Pennsylvania), born in Apollo, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gauker and Ruth Klingensmith Gauker; and her husband Leonard Cherry. She is survived by: her stepmother Hazel Gauker; her sons, Douglas W. Cherry of Vandergrift, Don E. Cherry of Raleigh, NC, Skip K. Cherry (Natalie) of Poquoson, VA and Dennis L. Cherry (Marion) of Harrisburg; her grandchildren, Philip Cherry, Amanda Cichowicz, Kyle Cherry, Lisa Kilinski, John Cherry, Mark Cherry, David Cherry and Nick Cherry; her sister Elsie; her son David A. Cherry; and her brother Earl Gauker.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (251 Main St, Leechburg, PA 15656).
