She was predeceased by: her parents, James Chubb and Dorothea Chubb (Lane); her brother James Chubb; and her son Gregory Smyser. She is survived by: her husband Clarence Michael Smyser; her children, Lisa Moyer (Rod) and Peter Smyser (Deanne); and her grandchildren, Nathan Moyer and Juniper Cannon.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to American Diabetes Association.
