He was predeceased by: his father William Charles; and his wife Barbara A. (Zemba). He is survived by: his children, William J. Marshall (Cynthia), Ann Marie Marshall, Jane Harding (John) and Joanne Smith (Matt). He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to this church, Open Door Baptist Church, Lebanon.
