He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Marshall Helmick and Marvin Helmick; his daughter Lois Wooddell Helmick; his stepmother Leta McLaughlin Helmick; and his siblings, Harry, Robert Helmick, Anna Frances Helmick and Frances Lee Helmick Murph.
He is survived by: his sister Jean Bocook (David) of Rockingham, VA; his daughters, Toni Sharp (John) of Etters, PA, Terri Quinn (John) of Horseshoe Bay, TX and Tracey Kreider (Tim) of Lebanon, PA; his grandchildren, Sara Hockenberry (Kodi), Andrew Sharp (Brooke), Amy Smith (Kyle), Johnny Quinn (Amanda), Daniel Quinn (Ginny), Madeline, Katherine and Caroline Kreider; and his great grandchildren, Blake, Logan Hockenberry, Liam, Loralyn, Livia, Lyla Sharp, Penelope, Anna Smith, Whitt, Guy Quinn, Amelia and Oliver Quinn. He is also survived by family members and treasured friends.
