He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer J. Leiss and Mildred M. Leiss (Fitting); and his brother Russell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Leiss (Uffner); his son Gregory Leiss (Debbie); his stepson Jeffrey Johnson; and his sister Diana Beaver (Frederick). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
