He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Nixon and Orene R. Nixon; and his brother Lloyd Nixon. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn R. Nixon; his sons, Bryan T. Nixon (Dianne M.) and Barry C. Nixon (Michelle R.); his grandchildren, Jenna C. Blouch (David M.), Kyra M. Roof (John P.), Dylan C. Nixon and Morgan R. Nixon; his great grandchildren, Lucas Roof and Amelia Roof; and his brother Donald Nixon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
