He was predeceased by: his parent Harry F. Rueppel, Sr.; and his brother Joseph Rueppel. He is survived by: his spouse Suzanne Kay Rueppel (Sahonic); his parent Dorothy J. Rueppel (Hughes); his son Samuel A. Rueppel, Jr.; his spouse Carolyn Rueppel; his grandchildren, Carissa MaHaffey, Austin Rueppel and Katelyn Rueppel; and his siblings, Shirley Swisher (Rueppel), Grace Phillips (Rueppel), Mary Ruhl (Rueppel), Harry F. Rueppel, Jr., Edward A. Rueppel and Bryan Rueppel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
