He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Bensing and Elsie Bensing (Hower); and his son Mark Bensing. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Bensing; his sons, Robert M. Bensing, Jr. of Lebanon and Jeffrey A. Bensing (Beth) of Lebanon; his grandsons, Wesley Bensing of Cornwall and Travis Bensing (Samantha) of Lebanon; and his siblings, Geraldine Bensing of Lebanon, Mary Mease of Lebanon and Carl Bensing (Shirley) of Lebanon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
