He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgiana Williams Brown and Robert; his children, Robert Lee Brown, Jr. of East Hampton and Nikesha Rollack (John) of Austin; his granddaughter Teighlor Brown (San Diego); and his siblings, George Karo Brown, Jr. (Yaeko) of Bangkok and Judy Brown of Highland Park.
