It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert John Scholes O. D. (Lebanon, Pennsylvania), born in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 4, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Scholes and Mae Scholes (Sullivan); his son Gregory; and his sisters, Margaret Schwartz and Faye Pearson.
He is survived by: his wife Christiane Hazen of Erie; his daughter-in-law Dr. Lisa M. Scholes; and his children, John (Mary Jo) of Birdsboro, PA, Cass (Linda) of Newark, DE and James (Lisa) of Lititz, PA. He is also survived by grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
