He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Balthaser and Verna V. Balthaser (Rubright); and his children, Connie and Scott. He is survived by: his wife Gerda Balthaser (Haas); his daughter Debbie Ziegler; his grandsons, Corey and Collin Ziegler; and his brother Dennis G. Balthaser (Debby).
