Richard I. Hess Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard I. Hess (Lebanon, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving L. Hess and Orpha Doughty (Imboden); his wife Lillian M. Hess; his son Richard Hess, Jr.; and his siblings, Charles R. Hess, Marian Leedy, Joanne Whisler and Ned W. Hess.
He is survived by: his son John Waters; his grandchildren, Lisa Sweigert (Hess), Richard I. Hess III, Benjamin R. Hess and Caleb J. Hess; and his siblings, Susan Spang (Ray) and Larry Doughty (Barbara). He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
