With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nadine E. Darkes (Lebanon, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nadine E. Darkes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Rhoades and Margaret Rhoades (Good); her husband Wayne E. Darkes, Sr.; her grandson Joshua Eastwood; and her siblings, Dallas Doll, Russell Rhoades, David Rhoades, Eunice May and Robin Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Wallace Turner (Rhonda), April Eastwood, Wayne Darkes Jr., Kerry Darkes (Sandy) and William Darkes (Carrie); her stepdaughter Cindy Carter (Mike); and her siblings, Rodney Rhoades and Jeannette Moody. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. (226 Cumberland St, Lebanon, PA 17042). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
