He was predeceased by: his parents, Clare Sr. Brungart and Elizabeth Brungart (O'Connell); and his sister Carole Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brungart (Eck); and his siblings, David Brungart, Clare Jr. "Sonny" Brungart (Patricia), Mary Ellen Stewart (William) and April Kline. He is also survived by fifteen nephews; two nieces; one uncle, and many, many cousins.
