He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Alameda and Maria Rios. He is survived by: his wife Alicia Maldonado; his children, Hilda, Laisa, Yamisha and Amethyst Alameda; his stepchildren, Ralphie, Jose and Jorge Maldonado; and his siblings, Valdo, Jose, Carmen and Milagros Alameda. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
