He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. W. and Sylvia V. Epler Steiner; and his siblings, Charles, Allen, Edward, Harry, Lewis, Harold Steiner, Catherine and Sarah.

He is survived by: his wife Lucy E. Sholly Steiner; his children, Ruth E. (Robin Weaver) of Jonestown and Lester K. (Cathie) of Bellegrove; his grandchildren, Erny, Sheba, Rob and Rebecca; his great grandchildren, Abby, Connor, Chloe and Cassi; and his siblings, Paul, Wayne, Anna and Sis.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private family memorial service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lebanon Moravian Church, 1115 Birch Rd Lebanon, PA, 17042 in honor of Lester Steiner.
