Kenneth G. Zimmerman Obituary

The memory of Kenneth G. Zimmerman of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 30, 2024 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter G. Zimmerman and Ruth A. Schwalm Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Marie Schach Zimmerman; his children, Keane Zimmerman, Judy (Miroslaw Gardyasz) of Grantville and Kathy McCoy of Harrisburg; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Mike Harrison), Abe (Izzie Zimmerman), Benjamin Zimmerman, Kristin (Kevin Rhie), Kimmy (Alex Egbert), Alyssa (Anthony SanSeverino), Meghan (David Keyworth), Keegan (Amy McCoy), Ryne McCoy, ChristiAnna Zimmerman and Faith Zimmerman. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.

Jeff Shyda wrote a sympathy message

“kz was such a special teacher to me. probably my favorite. i was also an avid coin collector so we hit it off from jump street. i was always impressed with his astronomy degree from SDSU. what a great place to go to school san diego!!!!! im class of '85 and i could tell some great stories about kz and me. he had a unique sense of humor. ill always remember him calling out " 30 bucks a book" when someone would treat the text book without respect. great memories of our coin trips. RIP MY FRIEND”
