It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John P Detwiler in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Detwiler and Magdalen Swanger Detwiler. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his brother James of Fairfield, PA; his sister-in-law Diane Detwiler; his niece Tammy Hauer (Brett) of Jonestown; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tatum Doney and Trey Hauer; his niece Lori Ferzandi (Zubin) of Carmel; his great-niece Maya; his great-nephew Ethan; his nephew Brian Detwiler (Kate); his great-nephew Nolan; his nephew Travis Aurentz (Fallon) of Palmyra; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aydin, Adysin and John.

In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name may be made to the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA or the Lebanon Rescue Mission.
