“Jerry, Tex Hammock and I were close friends in 1960-1961. We were in Little Creek, VA, in ACB2, USN. We spent some wonderful times in Lebanon at the Young Republican Club. Tex died 33 years ago. I last saw Jerry (we called him Moose in those days) in approximately 1969. I was working in NYC as a CPA then and rode my motor cycle down to visit. His passing brings back a flood of great memories from my past. This is a sad day for me. C Dennis Hailey”
