He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Missimer and Ismay Missimer (Stickler); his brother John G. Missimer; his sister-in-law Patricia Missimer (Mcgovern); and his niece Shirley Ann Kreiser.
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert H. Missimer (Ginny) of Lebanon, Shirley M. Kreiser of Carlisle, Elaine L. Missimer of Lebanon, Jean L. Hartman (Ronald) of Lebanon and Susan L. Heagy of Lebanon.

A burial was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
