He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin John Shaak Sr. and Elizabeth Sophia Shaak (Heverling); his son Earnest Shaak; and his siblings, George, James and Barbara Lyter.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Shaak (Guare); his children, Debra Lukens, Waneida Spangler, Kevin Fitzpatrick, Lori Norman (Jeffrey) and Bryan Shaak; his grandchildren, Brandi, Brian, Christopher, Jason, Jennifer, Abbagale, Brittni, Griffin (Haley) and Hannah (John); and his siblings, Robert, Richard, Janet Fink and Kay Morgan. He is also survived by two great grand children.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Irvin's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the local SPCA.
