She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Amal K. Kurban. She is survived by: her children, Health Practitioner, Margaret, Andrew, Ramsay and Suhail. She is also survived by grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren - in addition to nieces, nephews, and many relatives.
In lieu of flowers, donations to honor the memory of Helena may be made toward the Maude M. Bagwill Endowed Scholarship at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. The Maude M. Bagwill Scholarship gives financial aid to minority nursing students." Or you may opt to give to a charity of your choice in honor of Helena's memory.
