He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold G. Getz and Shirley D. Anspach Getz. He is survived by: his spouse Laurel A. Stranick Getz; his stepdaughter Emily Weaber; his stepgrandchildren, Alex Weaber (Rena), Ana Weaber and Kayleen Weaber; his brothers, David (Darlene Getz), Jeffrey Getz and Dale (Lisa Getz); and his niece Felicia Getz. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions may be made in Bud's memory to the Lebanon High School Athletic Department.
