She was predeceased by: her parents, Marco Piva and Clementine Vaes Piva; and her daughter Kathy Trostle. She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Smith; her children, Denyse (Bill Carpenter), Shirley (Jerry Wolfe), Theresa (Nick Resanovich), Linda Smith (late Michael Smith) and Robert Smith (Karen); and her sister Monique Micozzi. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to a charity of choice.
