He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Gassert. He is survived by: his mother Edith Gassert (Mays); his fiancée Eva M. Knoche; his son Jeremy G. Gassert (Andrea); his stepdaughters, Larissa M. Knoche and Megan E. Longmore (Adam); and his grandchildren, Chase, Aurora, Kinsley, Addy and Sean.
