He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Szuchanek and Beatrice Szuchanek (Newmaster); his grandson Craig; his great grandchild Kaegan; and his siblings, Leon Ruhl, Joseph Sahonic, Patricia Gristick and Joanne Shutter.
He is survived by: his wife Carol L. Sahonic (Geesey); his children, Vicki Lynn Labant, Kelly Ann Miller and Linda Sue Kreiser; his grandchildren, Jolene, Joseph, Joshua, Jessica, Ryan and Steven; his great grandchildren, Amerie, Kylie, Joel, Dilliah, Carter, Olivia, Jayden, Aurora, Jemma, Eden and Silas; and his sisters, Judy Hoke, Brenda Szuchanek and Suzanne Ruppel.
