He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Mease Nicholas; his parents, Samuel Jacob and Ada Steffe Nicholas; and his siblings, William, Robert, Kenneth, Larry Nicholas and Shirley Nicholas.
He is survived by: his children, Earl Nicholas, Jr. of Lebanon, Brenda Clark of Lebanon, Wendy Worrilow (William) of Lebanon and Karen Werner (Dale) of Lebanon; and his sisters, Carolyn Arnt of Jonestown and Geraldine Diamond of Lebanon. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
