He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Dohner and Goldie Dohner (Kreiser); his wife Hilda M. Dohner (Eckert); and his grandson Jeremiah Schmeltz. He is survived by: his children, Kandra Schmeltz (Richard), Todd Dohner (Elizabeth) and Robert Simmerman; his grandchildren, Christopher Rague (Billie Jo), Adam Dohner (Gabrielle), Nathan Dohner (Molly) and Melissa Schmeltz Liebner (Alex); and his sister Geanne Forrey. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
