He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest J. Wetzel and Elsie J. Wetzel; and his siblings, Dennis Ream, Debra Herman and Eric Wetzel.
He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Wetzel (Stricker); his children, Rebecca Wetzel and Philip Wetzel (Melissa); and his stepdaughter Tracey Moll. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
