He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Agnes Rakow (Scanlin); his parents, William W. Rakow and Isabelle M. Rakow (Seubert); and his brother Gregory Rakow. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel W. Rakow (Kara) and David A. Rakow Jr. (Janelle); his grandchildren, Madison, Adam, Andrew, Owen and Ella; and his siblings, William, Robert Rakow and MaryAnn Rakow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia or Our Lady of the Cross School.
