He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Longenecker and Emma Longenecker (Meyer). He is survived by: his wife Louise (Bleistine); his siblings, Malcolm (Kitty), Earl (Mary Jane), Bruce and Grace (Vincent); his sister-in-law Ann; his children, Dan (Lynn), Anita (Rick), Vicki (Tom) and Dale, Jr. (Melanie); his grandchildren, Jason (Petrice), Kate, Melissa (Bryan), Jenn (Brandon), Ryan (Kourtnie), Dale III and Lucas (Angela); his stepsons, Jess (Harry) and Bill; and his stepgrandchildren, Zoe, Zara, Zeah, Shyla, Malachi and William. He is also survived by the many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The Lebanon Rescue Mission and Salvation Army would greatly appreciate a donation in his honor in lieu of flowers.
