He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Betz and Georgia Betz (Cornell); and his sisters, Mary Snavely and Charlotte Dill. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn S. Betz (Marko); his children, Sharon M. Roth (Richard Jr.), Charles R. Betz III and Gary M. Betz; his grandchildren, Joshua Richard Roth, Ryan Derrick Roth, Brandon Michael Betz and Charles Richard Betz, IV; and his sister Eve Hansell. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
