She was predeceased by: her father Joseph A. Dowdrick. She is survived by: her mother Barbara Calaman (Shifflett); her husband David M. Alcala, Jr.; her children, Shelby, Saleena and Maclaren Alcala; and her siblings, Vincent Bartell (Mary), Joe Dowdrick, Jr. (Joan), Michael Dowdrick (Tammy) and Stephanie Andrews (George).
