She was predeceased by: her husband Leon W. Shaak, Jr.; her parents, Marvin Horst and Anna May Horst (Grim); her children, Allyson Reed and Leon Michael Shaak; and her sister Anna Elaine Yiengst.
She is survived by: her children, Lauren Shaak of Lebanon and David Shaak of Lebanon; her granddaughters, Jennifer Kovalchick and Stephanie Shaak; her great grandchildren, Sofia and Cayden Kovalchick; and her brothers, Gary (Sandy Horst) of Myerstown and Jay (Claudette Horst). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
