She was predeceased by: her father Floyd E. Hemenway; and her brothers, Jacob George and F. K.. She is survived by: her mother Joan Marie Kirkpatrick Hemenway of Lawton, PA; her father-in-law Randy S. Otis; her close friend Whiskers; her husband Randy Otis; and her children, Vanessa Henry (Justin) of Carbondale, PA and Dakota Otis of Lawton, PA. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joan's name to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or on their website.
