He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Truax and Leota Truax (Holt); his former wife Joyce Truax (Hackett); and his siblings, Jane Gausman, Tom Truax, Sam Truax and Dave Clarke.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Truax (Slade) of Lawrenceville, PA; his children, Stepanie Walters (Andrew) of Elkland, PA, Paul Truax Jr. (Lisa) of Lawrenceville, PA, Casey Truax (Julie) of Tioga, PA and Travis Truax of Lawrenceville, PA; his stepdaughter Shalene Mack of Corning, NY; his grandchildren, Adriana Heffner (Kyle), Britney Walters, William Walters, Alexander Walters, Haley Truax, Dylan Madison, Bailee Madison, Owen Truax, Harper Truax and Landon Truax; his stepgrandchildren, Kaori Mack and Braylon Mack; his siblings, Jean Beckhorn of Shinglehouse, PA, Claire Slawson of Wellsville, NY, Norman Buchanan of Coudersport, PA and Carl Slawson of Florida; and his brother-in-law Joe Gausman of St. Mary's, PA..
