He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Slusser and Angeline Slusser; his wife Donna J. Prothero; his grandson Jonathan Goris; and his brother William Slusser.
He is survived by: his daughter Shirley Silva (Guillermo "Willie" Cardenas) of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Alonso Silva of Austin, TX and Angelica Silva of Austin, TX; and his siblings, Richard Slusser, Alberta Hastings and Linda Strykowski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to social concerns surrounding Covid, there will be no public services, and he will be buried privately, beside his wife at Tioga County Memorial Gardens.
